Domestic minor sex trafficking is the commercial sexual exploitation of children within the borders of the United States.
It is the “recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act” where the person is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident under the age of 18 years.
We all wish to believe the horror of child sex trafficking only exist elsewhere, but the truth is it is right here on American soil. The war has been brought to us, how will we respond?
A Christ centered non- profit organization, whose mission is to prevent, rescue and heal children involved in domestic child sex trafficking.
Our foundational belief is a single life transformed is worth whatever the price. While the epidemic of child sex trafficking seems so enormous one person can not make a difference - we know differently.
Although we are painfully aware of the global sex trafficking problem, there is also a substantial and immediate need in America for services and supportive housing. By no means do we seek to diminish the need for a global response to sex trafficking; however, our primary focus is the child victim found in the United States.
